The scam in the Shadi anudan and family benefit scheme has also been proved in the re-investigation. The DM has sent the investigation report to the Principal Secretary of Social Welfare. Now the suspension of two Deputy Directors of the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Minority Welfare Officer and Deputy Director of the department, two ACM posted on the post of Tehsildar, two Tehsildars, one accountant, and two clerks is now fixed. DM has already recommended action. After the suspension of the Social Welfare Officer, the Principal Secretary of Social Welfare had asked the DM for a re-examination. This is the reason why no action was taken against the guilty officers.

The Social Welfare, Minority Welfare, and Backward Classes Welfare Department gives the benefit of the Shadi anudan scheme, whereas the Social Welfare Department gives the benefit of the Family Benefit Scheme. The benefit of the scheme is given when the earning member of a family dies. After the scam was exposed, the DM had conducted an inquiry. Then 935 beneficiaries were found ineligible in the Shadi anudan. The address of 702 people was wrong. 1310 people were ineligible for family benefits. The addresses of 1106 people were wrong.

19 Lekhpals have already been suspended. In re-examination, 708 ineligible people were found in the family benefit scheme, out of which the addresses of 315 were wrong and 242 people were not found at the given address. 535 ineligible have been found in Shadi anudan. Of these, 235 people are not found at the address, then 292 are with the wrong address. The Principal Secretary of Social Welfare was also asked to get the wrong addresses re-examined. When the DM got the investigation done again, then the scam was proved. DM Alok Tiwari said that the investigation report has been sent again.
